The State of NFL Defenses in 2020

As the old adage says, “Defense wins championships”. As we look back on a supremely nontraditional season, let’s recap what the most successful defenses were doing to stop NFL offensive attacks in the 2020 season.

Home Field Advantage?

There are numerous theories as to why NFL teams win more often at home, from weather differences, to hometown fans, to locker room difference, and everything in between. In this project, I examine the notion of home field advantage, with an eye especially towards hometown weather.

PGA Tour Player Statistics, 2010-2018

The 2010s was an interesting period in the golfing world, as rising stars and old favorites alike shared in success. In this visualization, we’ll explore each player on the PGA Tour, along with their year-by-year winnings, driving distance, greens in regulation, fairway percentage, and points per round.
